Dogs permitted anytime of the day during the off season.
Memorial Day - Labor Day, dogs ar not permitted between 11 am - 4 pm
Cape May City Beaches
Dogs are permitted ony during the months of November, December, January, February, and March
Cape May Point
Dogs are permitted November 1st - March 14th. Dogs must be leashed at all times and with an owner over 12 years of age present.
Higbee Beach & Wildlife Area
Dogs are permitted September 1st - April 30th. Higbee is owned by the State of NJ and is open 5 am - 9 pm.
Sunset Beach at Cape May Point
Dogs are permitted September 15th - April 15th
Note: Dogs are prohibited at Cape May Point State Park and the Cape May Migratory Bird Watch
Dog Beach in Wildwood
There is a dog beach in Wildwood off the Boardwalk at Glenwood Avenue. There is a 25' red fire hydrant sculpture at the location. It is open 6am - dusk. Freshwater is available for your dog.
Remember to always have your dog on a leash and carry waste bags with you to clean up after your dog.
