Home to the 157 foot tall Cape May Lighthouse, is the Wetlands State Natural Area, a wonderland of natural habitats to explore. From the freshwater coastal marshes, to the forested islands, the park is teaming with wildlife, attracting visitors year round.
The constantly changing shoreline means the area offers new exhibits to examine on each visit, the Wetlands is also the one of the most popular sites in North America to view the fall bird migration.
There are numerous picnic areas scattered around the park, alongside a museum which offers interpretive programs throughout the year
