This question is asked countless times across many a vacationer to the Cape May area. First and foremost, does it really matter? Heck yeah! After all, since pizza is a national past time that fits just about any occasion and any season, it makes sense that there would be countless pizza places in the area. So before I tell you, IMHO, who has the best, here is what goes into my assessment.
#1 – The taste rule – Of course, the pizza has to taste great. A blend of sauce, cheese, and of course and outstanding crust.
#2 – The grease drip rule – Heavy grease means you will be visiting the bathroom far sooner than expected. So if you need a napkin to soak up the grease you may want to rethink your choice.
#3 – The day after rule – Having made pizza since I was a kid, I can tell you that a key test to the quality of the pizza you eat is how it tastes the next day for breakfast. Go with it!!!
After considering the above constraints, it goes without saying that Sam’s Pizza on the Boardwalk at the border of Wildwood and North Wildwood is the clear winner, IMHO! Go Sam’s!
