The sublimely picturesque Washington Street Pedestrian Mall has a huge variety of boutique’s, restaurants and bars. It can be reached on foot from almost anywhere in the Cape May area comfortably and is not accessible by car.
The Mall has a real nostalgic atmosphere, with wooden signs and brightly coloured buildings, its almost a museum in itself!
The Mall has a strict ‘no chain’ policy, so all the stores are owned and run by locals which adds yet another charm to the place.
